American Bald Eagle Flag Picture
The american bald eagle flag picture of these birds can be found in most patriotic photo galleries.
These birds live and nest near coastlines, wet prairies, rivers, lakes, and coastal pine lands in North America. They are found on the territory from Alaska and Canada south into Florida and Baja. They feed on small mammals, wading birds, waterfowl, and dead animal matter. Not all populations of these birds have to migrate in winter. They are not afraid of cold, because they are protected by a warm down; they move southward or to large rivers with dams searching for open water sources where they can find food.

American Bald Eagle Flag Picture -
birds, photo
The most distinctive characteristic of this bird is its white head. In the adult bird, white head and tail create a vivid contrast with the bird’s dark-brown body. The bird’s bill, feet and eyes are of a yellow color. The heads do not turn white until the birds reach the age of four or five years old. It’s the age of sexual maturity for this species. Not all young birds survive their first winter. The reproductive rate of these birds is very low, also because there are normally only one eaglet in the nest. If disturbed, these fierce predators may leave their nests with eggs and even with the young. The american bald eagle flag picture of these birds can be found in most patriotic photo galleries.
