Bird For Sale
When considering a bird for sale, references for the aviary and pictures are useful.
These creatures mate for life, but if one partner dies, the other seeks for a new mate. Bald eagles build their nests on large trees or on mountain ledges and cliffs. A pair usually has several nests and uses them alternatively. Old nests reach 10 feet in size and up to 2,000 pounds in weight. There can be from 1 to 3 eggs in the clutch, but normally only one chick survives. Young Bald eagles leave the nest at the age of 10-12 weeks, but they reach sexual maturity only at the age of 4-5 years.
